Week Of Mourning 2020

Remembering those who should still be with us.
From October 5 – 11 2020, Marked By COVID-19 hosted daily Virtual Vigils to honor the 200,000+ lives lost to COVID-19 in the United States and countless others impacted in myriad ways. Each Virtual Vigil focused on a community suffering from our leadership’s failure to manage the virus in this country.

Ongoing efforts.
The Week of Mourning was the first national effort to mourn lives lost to COVID-19, but it is not the last:
* Marked By COVID will continue to organize people and families #MarkedByCOVID. Join here.
* Mourning Into Unity, a project of the Re:imagine network, is creating space for COVID grief.
